You will be stunned by the dance of the colorful fish, thrilled by the possibility of an encounter with a reef shark (absolutely harmless) and delighted by swimming with the turtles. You will create some unforgettable memories that will, for sure, be on your top 5 of Sri Lankan beach! Divers can head further toward the famous Swami Rock, Eels Rock or Sitanamapara.
Passikudah, the water sport paradise 
In Passikudah, you can try snorkeling, windsurfing, fishing, or even jet skiing and water skiing! Children will have some joyful time on a banana boat! If you feel like escaping the shore for a few hours, board on a catamaran for a cruise in the Kalkudah bay! Snorkel at Elephant’s Rock, jump in the ocean, give a try to stand up paddle or relax and sunbath on the deck while the captain tells you all about the area. You can also get on a bicycle to get away from the sea to discover the surrounding fishermen villages and meet the warm and welcoming Sri Lankan population.
Arugam bay, into the surf universe
In Arugam Bay, surf lovers will enjoy the 4 different sports that will give them the best of Sri Lankan beach waves. Mostly In July and August, the spots are bustling and the atmosphere is in the party spirit for this area that has been ranked as one of the top 10 spots in the world.
If you prefer Kite surfing, head on the other side, to the Kalpitiya Lagoon. The wind is perfect for ten months of the year.
