THE MOST BEAUTIFUL BEACHES OF BALI

An elusive beach in Bali

The winter has arrived, accompanied with a drop in temperatures, wind and snow. So nothing like a little preview of the most beautiful beaches of Bali to warm you up! White sand or black sand, green or turquoise waters… Bali has a variety of beaches, and there is always something for everyone!

Balangan Beach in Bali

On the Bukit Peninsula in the South Island, Balangan is a paradise for surfers: turquoise water and rolling golden sand. The atmosphere is relaxed, fresh and young. Some bungalows are available that face the ocean. You can sip a cocktail while listening to some reggae while watching the surfers jump off the waves! The sunset at this beach is an intoxicating and mesmerizing visual.

Pasir Putih Bali

A hidden beach on the east coast of Bali, its name means “white sand” in Indonesian. Pasir Putih is a gem not to be missed: white sand, shimmering water, and a heavenly atmosphere are guaranteed! Along the beach you will find small warung (local restaurants) where you can nibble on delicious snacks for a few dollars between swims.

Amed East Bali

Amed is located in the extreme east of Bali, where the coastline is composed of small sandy beaches and black pebbles. Authentic landscapes, fishing villages, and salt harvests make this coast a unique and picturesque location. The beach is not really conducive to relaxation but is more befitting for walks, discoveries, snorkeling or diving. Amed is a very nice coast where you can also ride and fish on a canoe.

Pemuteran Beach Bali

Pemuteran lies in the north of Bali, where an air of the Mediterranean reigns. The water is calm, deep and blue. It is the ideal place to swim or stroll along the sea. Pemuteran is a quiet and relaxing place in contrast to the south of the island which is much more festive! If you are traveling with your family, this is a preferred destination because you can easily get to Lovina to watch dolphins during an excursion aboard a traditional boat. From Pemuteran you can also go to Menjangan, a small island which has some of the finest diving and snorkeling spots on the island of Bali: a great place to watch the fish and corals in multiple colors!

These beaches on the Island of Bali are so close to each and yet so different! The scenery changes in no time, an enigma of Bali, the Island of the Gods! The only small drawback for a swimmer like me was that often the most beautiful beaches were not always suitable for swimming due to the waves and currents. We invite the lovers of islands, beautiful beaches and swimming not only to stop in Bali, but also venture into the other islands of Indonesia such as Lombok, Komodo or Flores. Shanti Travel can create your tailor made trip to the Islands of Indonesia. http://www.shantitravel.com/en/indonesia/
